Musicmarkers Ltd – Havah Nagilah (MP3)
After raiding my Italo collection this morning, it would seem that I am going into dodgy territory again. Don’t worry though, Musicmarkers Ltd pull out all the stops on this one. Taking their inspiration from a traditional Hebrew folk song, ‘Havah Nagilah’, they use the original middle eastern influences, blend it together with some more modern sounds, and then turn it into a massive, Cerrone sounding, Jewish disco monster…
Let us rejoice.
Note: This is a re-post due to popular demand (well, *cough* one e-mail!). Whilst here, it is worth pointing out that Musicmarkers Ltd is actually Celso Valli in his Azoto guise; Musicmarkers Ltd was the name of the first Azoto album. Sack the 2007 research team.
