With a line up that reads, Yves Hayat (The Droids), Sauveur Malia (Arpadys, Voyage, Tele Music), Pierre Alain Dahan (Arpadys, Voyage, Tele Music), Marc Chantereau (Arpadys, Voyage, Tele Music), and a one track guest appearance from Wally Badarou (on Chunga Funk), this LP has got winner written all over it…
Released on Barclay in 1978, Tumblack’s untitled LP beholds 10 tracks of the afrobeat/disco/funk persuasion. Caraiba is probably the most well known track, getting various bootleg releases, as well as an official 12″ release back in 1979. If you’re lucky enough to come across this LP, buy it, and buy it quick. Beware though, this is as expensive, as it is rare - some joker on Discogs Marketplace is asking for € 999.00…

And thanks for the music, we are big fans here of both the Droids - Star Peace LP, as well of course as the Tumblack LP. Are there any other hidden gems you have worked on that you can recommend?!
