this ode to taking your clothes off for beads comes from new soul superstar tiffany evans, and is backed by a thickset of beats and snaps that come down like a dense, heavy fog, from which there might be no escape except by krumping your way out. this track proves three things - firstly, timbaland is still so-hot-right-now. next is how serious his desire is to work with the best new talents (”everyone wants to work with the big new producer or the hot new singer. the key is to find them before they’re hot”, the observer). and last up is that, against all odds, it actually is possible for an ex-american idol (nee pop idol) star to release a good record - and that’s the shit that really blows my mind.
