herman’s rocket - space woman (mp3)

herman’s rocket were an italian space disco outfit, produced by j.p massiera. most of you will probably know ’space woman’ after it appeared under the venus gang guise on one of those cosmic dancer bootlegs. on their galactic soul lp, they did a rip off version of the o jays ‘for the love of money’ - another one maybe. you decide…

check out where both of those songs (probably) got their inspiration from.
Silver Convention’s “Fly Robin Fly”. same chug, same strings, same melody.

i have got an album by silver convention called ‘discotheque vol 2′, but it is average at best. never heard the ‘fly robin fly’ track, but it’s ace, i am especially digging some of those intense disco moves they pull off. one for the must find list i think…cheers
