picked this album up a month or so ago. released way back in 1983, the dutch trio, ruud van es, peter kommers and rob papen managed to get their hands on a ridiculous amount of roland synthesisers, rhythm composers, drum machines and, most probably, a shit load of super skunk. the result of this lethal concoction, is the incredible, and extremely baked, ‘continents’ lp…
to be honest, i could have selected any track from this album, and i’m pretty sure complaints would have been at a minimal. however, personal highlights do come in the form of ,‘continents’, ‘africa’ and ‘oriental’. after some deliberation, i decided to post the ‘africa’ track. which as well as being a firm baldelli favourite, is also, 11 minutes of full on, synthesiser erotica. enjoy, im pretty sure they did…
