to tey and keep up some sort of regular posting, i’m aiming for more music with less chatter, so i’ll be brief (altough i must say it’s nice to see mark back!). in honour of “show your bones”, which is destined to be an album of the year come december, i thought i’d pick out two yeah yeah yeahs tracks.
the first one may be familiar to many telly addicts, as it was featured in an semi-recent adidas commercial directed by karen o’s ex, spike jonze, and is apparently a taster of what is to come from her long-mooted solo-project. the second track is a cover of one of my favourite bjork tracks, taken from her second album “post”.
“show your bones” is still for sale in all good rekid shops, and new single “turn into” came out yesterday. buy here.
