i know nothing about this track apart from that it features on a rather excellent new koushik mix cd entitled “in the middle of the night”, which you can buy here. i’ve googled all i can and can find nothing apart from what you can hear in the track it’s a kid’s choir, singing (off-key) a self-penned song about the king of soul and his humble beginnings. and, of course, i think it’s fantastic.

edit: thanks to darren in the comments for pointing me in the direction of where to buy the whole album, i’m just about to order it now.

and if you’re wondering what the above picture relates to, as i write this pete fowler is currently scrawling all over the walls at common, and he’ll hopefully be staying afterwards and playing with me and mark. you should expect a few leftfield numbers, which you should have heard from his new monsterism compilation.
